Good morning, respected Principal, teachers, and my fellow students and housemates. I am Amos K. Lainunsanga, Captain of Red House. Today, as I stand here on the stage for the very last time as a Denian, standing here brings many emotions pride, gratitude, and even a little fear-along with the memories that will stay with us wherever life may take us.
Firstly, I want to express my deepest thanks to our respected Principal, all the teachers, the committee members, and every person who works tirelessly behind the scenes for guiding us through every lesson, shaping us with care and wisdom, and for giving us patience and support.
You gave us the platform to dream big and the wings to fly. Thank you for trusting us students and for always putting the welfare of the school above everything else. Without each one of you, the school would not be the same.
I would also like to sincerely thank the entire Red House for electing me as the Captain of Red House. Being elected as Captain was an honor I will always treasure. Leading Red House taught me leadership, teamwork, resilience, and the true meaning of loyalty.
However, no captain succeeds alone. I would like to thank the Vice-Captain, Elnathan, who stood beside me through every competition and preparation. Your support, teamwork, and dedication kept our house strong and united. Honestly, you did half the work while I received the title.
As I prepare to step out of these corridors, I want to leave a small piece of advice for the next Red House Captain and the entire team. There will be moments when leadership feels difficult and nothing seems to go your way. Always remember that these challenges will pass, and the lessons you gain will stay with you forever.
Finally, a message to all of you, especially my juniors: School life is short, but its lessons echo forever. The friendships you make here, the failures you overcome, and the dreams you chase on this very ground-these are the threads that will shape the rest of your life. Never take this time for granted.
As I once heard someone say, "Nothing lasts forever, but at least we got these memories."
Thank you once again to every angelic soul in this hall. You all played a part in the smile I carry today. Red House, I will carry your spirit with m e wherever life takes me.
This is Amos K. Lalnunsanga signing off.
THANK YOU, GOD BLESS, AND LONG LIVE KIDS DEN.
