A guide to Kids Den School's digital brand and design patterns

Welcome to the style guidelines and best practices site for Kids Den School, which serves as a resource for designers, communicators, and anyone who is visually representing Kids Den School online, in print or in person.

Primarily for use in internal and external communications, the graphic design elements establish and maintain a clear, unified identity within the Kids Den School community and beyond. 

They also improve consistency and help units reduce costs by alleviating the need to develop their own marks.

Logo

The identity system includes a primary logo composed of a modern emblem with  'Kids Den School' visible on it. A prayer gesture, a book and the school motto are also part of the system.

Do not alter, recreate, or redraw the logos.

Colours

The full KDS palette was developed as a spectrum of colors, chosen to work well with and offer a wide range of possible hues, values, and color combinations that can accommodate progressive and traditional design solutions.

The HEX values listed below were optimized for use on uncoated stock, although depending on the type of printing and ink being used, adjustments may be required.

The primary colour are listed below, apart from these Kids Den School has a huge collection of colours such as house colours and logo palette and multiple secondary colours.

Typography

Print (official papers) :

- Display Text

For titles, headlines, subheads and rubrics (display text), the official typeface is Arial. The recommended weight is black or bold.

- Body Text

For the main body of print documents (longer text passages), we generally recommend classic serif typefaces such as Times New Roman, Bookman Old Style, Caslon and Garamond for their legibility and contrast with the display fonts listed above.

Web and Digital

- Display Text

Playfair Display for titles, headlines and rubrics.

- Body Text

Poppins, Arial or Roboto for paragraph text and subheads.
